A podiatrist is a highly trained specialist health professional who deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet, ankles and lower limbs.

At the start of your consultation we will review your medical history and assess your condition. Together we will discuss your symptoms and other contributing factors. The podiatrists will answer any questions you may have and will provide you with an accurate diagnosis. Treatment options of your condition will than be discussed.

No, for a standard consultation no referral is necessary – simply call us and make an appointment. However, for DVA Gold Card or Medicare (under the Enhanced Primary Care program), you will need a referral from your GP.

Please bring anything to your appointment that you feel will assist with your diagnosis and treatment. This may include footwear, referral letters and relevant test results such as x-rays.

We see and treat patient for a wide range of conditions and diagnoses.  Please visit our Services for an extensive list of conditions and diagnoses we see patients for.

If you have ‘extras’ cover you may be eligible to claim part of your treatment fee. Individual health fund benefits can vary so you are best to check the details of your policy directly with your insurer. Most health funds are online with HICAPS, enabling the receptionists to process your health fund rebate, leaving only the gap for you to pay following your consultation. Please ensure you bring your health fund card with you.

You can check with your health insurance provide to determine if podiatry services are covered under your plan. We recommend that you confirm your insurance coverage.

The day before your consultation, we will either send out a ´reminder sms´ or phone you to confirm your appointment. Please feel free contact us for confirmation, if you have not received a reminder. If you should need to change your appointment please give as much notice as possible.

You may call our administration office at 49422550.

Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your condition, your past medical history, and other factors.
